Inaugural "Rail-Sea Express + Middle East Fast Shipping" Service from Yiwu to Dubai

On the morning of May 18, a rail-sea intermodal freight train carrying 100 TEUs loaded with exported home appliances, hardware machinery and other goods departed from Yiwuxi Railway Station, heading to Ningbo Zhoushan Port. After the containers arrive at the port, they will be shipped via a direct Middle East route to Jebel Ali Port in the United Arab Emirates. This marks the successful first shipment of the "Rail-Sea Express + Middle East Fast Shipping" logistics model from Yiwu to Dubai.
The "Rail-Sea Express + Middle East Fast Shipping" logistics model achieves precise docking between Yiwu port warehouse and deep-water berths, providing foreign trade enterprises with a fast, economical and stable transportation channel to Dubai. With seamless "no container transfer" connection to the Middle East fast shipping, transit time from the Yiwu consolidation warehouse to Dubai distribution terminals has been reduced from 23 days to 17 days, cutting logistics costs by approximately 18%.
